Jake Lipiec is a drummer and producer from England. His distinctive sound draws deeply from breakbeat and sampling culture, blending sonics with a hunger for new, song-serving rhythms. Jake’s ’voodoo grooves’ (Pitchfork) have been described as both ‘hypnotic’ and ‘lyrical’.

Infatuated by the magic of recording, Jake has contributed to various acclaimed records over recent years, whilst touring with internationally recognised acts.

As a producer, Jake’s journey began in pop-up studios along the UK coastline. Taking the values he learned from these organic creative experiences, he set up ‘The Nest’ in London, as a home- from-home studio championing authenticity and individuality.
