Josephine Forsman, born in Robertsfors, is a Swedish drummer/songwriter, and educator. She is one of the four founders of the critically acclaimed rock band Sahara Hotnights in 1992, and the founder of the music program LOUD Sweden, providing schools and communities in Sweden with high quality music lessons. Josephine started playing drums at the age of 10 listing Dave Grohl as the main influence, and has been a touring musician with Sahara Hotnights since the age of 15. She has played with artists like Robyn, Frida Hyvönen, Rebecca & Fiona, Per Gessle (Roxette), and US drummers Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown) and Tommy Ramone (The Ramones). Josephine lives in California and works actively with Sahara Hotnights and LOUD Sweden.
