Mauricio Weimar is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist born in1980. He learned how to play the drums by himself and specialized in Extreme Metal. He played for some important bands in the underground scene like Nephasth, and The Ordher, and he is also a music teacher since 1997.

He is based in Norway since 2015 when he moved with his wife to teach music in the Culture School of Kvinnherad Municipality. 

In 2020 he started his career on the internet under the name of Mauricio Extreme Drums, and from 2023 he achieved some real nice visibility. Since then, Extreme Drums has been growing constantly.

In 2024, Mauricio started to work more focused on his internet presence, and today he collaborates with the biggest drum companies in the world.
