Meki was born in the south of Italy in Palmi (RC) and became passionate about drums at the age of 9, very soon he began playing his first concerts around Italy with various bands.

In 2006 he graduated in percussion instruments at the F. Cilea Conservatory in Reggio Calabria while in 2008 he decided to move to the USA to attend the prestigious Musician Institute in Hollywood CA.

Since 2010 he has lived in Rome where in a short time he began several live collaborations, in recording studios and TV shows in Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk, Soul, World and Jazz musical contexts.

He has participated in several tours and recorded with various artists on the Italian music scene including:

Ultimo, Max Gazzè, Luca Barbarossa, Dodi Battaglia, Tommy Emmanuel, Achille Lauro, Marina Rei etc.

Since 2015 he has been part of the resident band of one of the most successful Radio/TV music programs in Italy “Radio2 Social Club”. In this RAI program he had the opportunity to play with national and international artists of the caliber of: James Taylor, Anastacia , Dee Dee Bridgewater, Tony Hadley, Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Jacob Collier, Noa, Francesco De Gregori, Fiorella Mannoia, Antonello Venditti, Renato Zero, Nek, Il Volo, Carmen Consoli and many others.

In 2020 he has founded “Ubeat Recording Lab” a recording and music production studio in Rome.
