Glasgow born Ross Craib is an international touring musician, accomplished drummer and songwriter; Based in London, he performs and writes with many different artists, across a range of genres. Over the years, he has worked in live, radio, TV and promotional campaigns with a host of homegrown and International artists. In total, his drumming has been streamed over 100 million times and he has performed on some of the worlds biggest shows and stages; NPR’s Tiny Desk, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Graham Norton Show, The Olympics Opening Ceremonies, The Ryman, Hollywood Palladium, Hammersmith Apollo, London Roundhouse, The Ace Theatre LA to name just a few.
Currently working for UK artist – dodie – Ross can be heard performing on her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Build A Problem’ (2021) which charted at Number 3 in the UK Official Album Chart and previously, her 2019 release, ‘Human EP’, which peaked at Number 5.
Ross’s drumming features on 9 of the new tracks, including lead singles ‘Cool Girl’ & ‘Hate Myself’, both of which were broadcast as Annie Mac’s Hottest Records in the World on BBC Radio 1; This is the 4th time dodie has been awarded such an accolade with Ross in the chair; ‘Guiltless’ and EP title track, ‘Human’ (with Brit Awards Winner – Tom Walker as a guest vocalist) also featured.
Early 2022 saw Ross complete a World Tour with dodie selling out shows in the US, EU and UK – the 3rd time they have done so.
With the release of his first book, titled ‘The Touring Musician’s Survival Guide’, which aims to educate aspiring and existing musicians in how to become well rounded touring professionals, Ross was seen featured in Forbes magazine, MusicRadar and interviewed live on BBC Radio.
