Sander Zoer
Delain, Leah, Independent
Halfway the 80’s Sander got into drums at age seven. He knew that he wanted to perform both on stage and in the studio. However, a good plan B was required. Besides all the drumming activities he studied electrical engineering which turns out handy at a later moment. Meanwhile he auditioned for bands and projects.
Sessions and gigs got up in the Northern part in the Netherlands. In 2006 he joined Delain to promote the debut album Lucidity which was already released. After that ‘April Rain’ was recorded and released which was a good booster for Delain. Plenty of highlights followed. In 2014 Sander took a step back and left as touring member of Delain. Thanks to the knowledge of electrical engineering, he was able to build a studio where he provides drum recordings for artist and producers. He joined Leah as recording artist for her album’s short after. In 2021 he re-joined Delain as touring member, with the release of ‘Dark Waters’ and the EP ‘Dance with the Devil’ they are touring Europe and United States. Sander endorses Paiste cymbals, Sonor SQ2 drums, Remo drumheads, Gibraltar hardware and Wincent drumsticks, the combination of all these products creates the typically sound Sander prefers.
Sander uses the W-5A sticks.
